le Destin (Destiny)

le 6 octobre    It’s fate. I’m supposed to be here. I have been trying to figure out how I knew that I had to come to Rwanda, and I’ve already felt like this is/will be a perfect fit for me. Now I know for sure that I was right.

This afternoon, Sr. Rose and I met early for our lesson, so that we could all cook up a hearty Rwandan meal that the sisters would bring to their priest friends. I think it’s nice that they are friends and are able to have that change in religious dynamic from time to time. There’s so much that I’ve been learning, and will surely be a natural Rwandese chef when I come home. This left Joseline and me alone for dinner, which was already made. She suggested we watch a movie while we ate, so I went to pick my book of dvds.

Mind you, I have at least 30 or 40 movies with me, none of which she’s seen.

What is the ONE film she insists she would really like to watch tonight? “She’s the Man.”

  1. Ahahha, I was waiting to read some spiritual revelation that lead you to realize that Rwanda was the right place.

She's the Man is close enough.
